We hope your break was restful and now you are ready to finish this semester strong!
To take a load off of this craziness, Phi Sigma invites you to attend a FREE IMAX movie and dinner this Saturday (3/26)!We will be meeting at 5pm to head over together to the California Science Center and watch "Hubble" 3-D (http://www.californiasciencecenter.org/Imax/Features/Hubble3D/Hubble3D.php). The movie will last from 5:30 p.m. to approximately 6:15 p.m., and will be followed by a free Subway dinner. Space is limited, so if you are interested in attending, please RSVP by email by Friday, Mar. 25, at 5:00 p.m.
Also, we are excited to announce an awesome research opportunity

Dr. Ite Laird of the USC Health Sciences Campus (HSC) researches lung cancer and is currently seeking a junior undergraduate researcher for her lab. She has emphasized that students will be considered on a first-come, first-evaluated basis, so please fill out this application and turn it in ASAP! Hey everyone!

Hope the semester's going well - can you believe we only have 3 weeks left? :) In the meantime, your PS e-board has been busy planning the last meeting(s) of the fall semester;

Also, for those of you interested in clinical health psychology, we have yet another opportunity to get involved with research in this field! The information is below:

Position: Research Assistant

Type of employment: Volunteer

Department: Psychology

Study description: Female RAs are needed for help with laboratory study in a clinical health psychology laboratory. RAs must have availability from 9-1 on Monday, 10-2 on Wednesday, and/or 10-2 on Friday. Please email contact personnel for more information.

Job Duties: RAs will assist with running subjects through a new laboratory based study and data entry.

Qualifications: Genuine interest in research opportunity in psychology lab, flexibility in schedule (Potential RA's with Monday, Wednesday, AND Friday availability will have higher probability of receiving RA position)

Time commitment: 8-12 hours a week
